Minke whale removal turns into public spectacle after carcass washes up on Rye beach

RYE - A dead minke whale became a sad spectacle after it washed up on Jenness Beach Monday morning and later fell off the side of a Dumpster and flopped onto the parking lot as crews attempted to move the animal to a facility where a necropsy can be done to determine cause of death.
